As the year comes to a close, I wanted to write a blog thanking you for all of the support this year. In April, I was told that I would go back to mornings after almost 4 years of being the midday personality on the station. I knew it would be tough to transition. I knew that taking the place of the current morning show at the time was going to be rough as I tried to win over their hardcore fans. As always... the first few weeks were bumpy. But I really feel like things have been getting more and more amazing with each week that passes. Feeling the love that you've given since jumping back on mornings has been something I'll never forget. Thank you. You're support has been the thing that made this a great 9 months. I look forward to the years to come!
2013 has been such an amazing year.
The biggest thing for me this year was becoming a married man. I married my best friend in October. She makes me laugh every single day. She makes me feel loved. She is my inspiration in life.
(If you read this babes... I love you!)
The next best part of 2013 was something that I never expected to happen. Only being back in the morning show slot for a few months, our listeners (YOU) went to bat for myself and Rock 105! Because of your votes... I was voted the 9 and 10 News MIFavorite Things: Radio Personality! That was an amazing thing to happen and I can't say thank you enough for voting on that and making it happen!
The last best thing to happen for me in 2013 is my Pomp! I've been working on it for a few months now. I am damn proud of where it's headed!
Anyone remember when I had this sweet hair?
My Mom hated it, but always smiled for a photo with me!
I can't wait to see what great things will happen in 2014. The one thing that I know for sure is that I will try my best to continue letting you know how thankful I am to do this job. To make sure you know how much it means to me that you tune in every day on Rock 105.
I love you Northern Michigan! Bring it in for a hug. Okay, that's weird.
You hugged your computer monitor.
Who does that?
How about this instead...
