People who have found themselves in a very dark place. The Salvation Army is bringing in a guest speaker to tell her struggles and journey to happiness. Her name is Kristen Jane Anderson. At 17, she attempted to take her own life. 20 years later she is a mom of 4, happily married, and spreading the message of getting help.

MEET STAR!!! The name is fitting, because Star's personality shines as bright as a star! She is a total babe, who is as bubbly as she is goofy. Star's #zoomies are hilarious when she's happy! What makes her happy you ask? She loves to be pet, she loves belly rubs, and treats from her favorite people. Star is shy of new faces at first, but warms up quickly and wants nothing but loveonce she realizes that you are safe. This star is bright and smart, ready to learn! LOVES treats! No kitty friends for her, please, but she has potential with other dog friends and mature kids 12 and up! Star does have Lyme Disease, but I is not symptomatic. 95% of dogs will never become symptomatic. Star's new family will need to monitor her for signs of arthritis or joint pain as well as fever/illness and consult with their veterinarian. She is well worth the little bit of extra monitoring! MEET BETTY! She is a snuggle-love bug. Would prefer to be somebody's priority and not have to share attention. Prefers no young children because they make her uncomfortable. Definitely no cats. Loves and needs to go for walks and be with her people! She is an unclaimed stray who had been hit by a car and found in a ditch. After strict kennel rest for a couple of months, she healed up well and is now ready to go HOME. Other than a noticeable physical defect at the tail-head, she appears to have no lasting effects from her injuries.

Tabitha June, also known as Tabby is about 18-months-old! She was heart-worm positive when she came to Rosey Paws Senior Rescue through the rescue efforts of another shelter. Rosey Paws helped Tabby through her treatment and recovery. She is now medically cleared and ready to join her forever family! She is fully vaccinated, crate-trained, house-trained, and loves all people! She would do better with older kids, just because of her size. She could easily knock over the little ones if she got excited! She could possibly do well in a home with only one other dog about the same size. She is not recommended in a home with any other small animals. She is located in Manton Michigan and is waiting patiently to find the love she has always craved! Tabitha June is very smart, and affectionate! She loves to play and she loves to lay around and lounge on the couch! Let's find this babe a forever family!
