AC Paw with dance team Marti Johnson & Kellen Blackburn who will dance the swing for the September shows and lip sync darlings, Philip & Melissa Smith, will perform in November, ? Cognition - Science & Discovery Center, has selected Clover Keyes Roy & Larry Avery to rhumba their way into your hearts in September andEvent Image Rich Brauer & friends to delight audiences with their lip sync skills in November, ? Love Thy Neighbor - Grand Traverse, offers the admirable talents of Kendra Peterson & Tarren Thomas as their September Night -Club dancers and proudly presents Dawnette Wessell and her team of lip sync divas to compete in November’s events.Also, new and exciting this season, will be SwingShift and the Stars: Beyond the Competition, sponsored by Bill & Susie Janis! It’s a professionally produced, virtual, sneak peek backstage and in rehearsals for fun and even a few mishaps!! You can view, donate and vote by watching Beyond the Competition on your own screen. CHARLEVOIX 8th Annual Leif Eriksson Day Row and Run

From 8:00AM to 11:00AM

Leif Eriksson Day Row and Run hosts their 8th annual event one Saturday, October 2nd, 2021. The event consists of a one-mile boat race and 5k foot race and celebrates the life of Leif Eriksson. All net proceeds support the Rayder Den at Charlevoix Community Schools. Beginning at Depot beach, the one-mile boat race leads participants to Ferry Beach. The 5k will traverse along a road course in the city of Charlevoix. Registration is open until the day of the event. Registration up to 9/18 is $30 and includes a collectible t-shirt. After 9/18 the price is $35 and sign up the day of the event is $40.The Rayder Den services Middle and High School students who are experiencing food insecurity. The Rayder Den is staffed by members of the Christ Episcopal Church, First Congregational Church, and St Mary’s Catholic Church.

MT PLEASANT Annual Used Book Sale

The annual Friends of the Veterans Memorial Library Used Book Sale will be held in the Veterans Memorial Library Annex (301 S. University, Mt. Pleasant MI) from September 29 to October 2. September 29th is Members Only and Teacher Appreciation Day. September 30 through October 2, the sale is open to the public starting at 10:00 a.m. each day. Closing times vary.

 

Saturday, October 2, is $2 a bag day with bags provided by Ric’s Food Center.

TC Germanfest - Familienfest

This a free, family-friendly event open to the public and all ages. Come and join us Saturday October 2 anytime between 10:00am-2:00pm under our Bavarian tent. If you would be so kind as to let us know you are coming by clicking on the ticket and entering the number of people in your party, it will help us know how many attendees to expect. PLUS, it will put you into a drawing for 4 free lunches at the event and 2 meal tickets for next year's full German adult dinners. This is our opportunity to thank you for supporting our event. WINN treehouse community LIVE AUCTION

We will be having our annual WINN, MI. TREEHOUSE community fundraiser. We will have live auction, games, drawings.
