 “Hooping for a Cure – 2022”. This year’s pink game will feature the Boys & Girls Basketball teams from Mackinaw City and St. Ignace. The fundraising event supports the “No Cancer Patient Left Behind” program thru the Oncology Department at Mackinac Straits Health System. The game is Tuesday, February 22nd at LaSalle High School and will include an online auction, 50/50 Raffle, and a special ceremony. Now-Feb 12…Cheboygan County Walk for Warmth is taking place both virtually and in person. To participate, pick up a pledge sheet & registration form at the Salvation Army Social Service Office. For virtual, walk at your leisure, just be sure to turn in donations by 10:30am Feb 12. TFN- The Northern Care Center is a medical clinic for those uninsured or underinsured. Patients are seen on Tuesday afternoon/evenings. Located at W State Street, Cheboygan. You need to wear a mask and when you come to the parking lot you need to call the clinic, first come first seen.
