MEET RUFUS!

Rufus is a playful, silly, high-energy goofball who lives for zoomies, toy shredding, and making his people laugh. He's the kind of dog who shakes his toys with enthusiasm, dashes around like he's late for something important, and considers eating snow a seasonal delicacy. When he's happy, his joy is contagious.

Rufus is best suited for a dog savvy, 16+ kiddo home, that understands dogs who can get SUPER excited during play and need their space respected. He's sensitive to some types of handling, especially belly touches and putting on a harness. He does best when things are done slowly and with choice. Once he feels safe, he's affectionate, playful, and wonderful with the people he's labeled as besties.

Rufus is often happy to build a friendship, he prefers to call the shots and work slowly to determine if you have met his list of requirements. Requirements: treats, toys, being called a good dog, and outside goofy time.

Rufus is strong and energetic, so a confident handler is important. He may enjoy living with the right dog friend, but would need careful introductions. No cats, please.
