I had the chance to talk with Carly Marie of the T.C. Queen Bee Food Truck. Carly has begun a mission to help our homeless community in Traverse City. Everything from serving a hot Thanksgiving dinner to them from her food truck, to collecting and distributing donations. Cherryland Ghostbusters: Stuff The Ecto Interview!

The Cherryland Ghostbuster, the Cherry Capital Comic Con, and Real Rock are teaming up to stuff the Ecto-42 at Five Below in Traverse City. The event is on December 2nd at the Five Below in TC, from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.! Stop out and donate a toy! We are challenging local businesses to take up a donation and drop it off at this event as well! We'll let you challenge other businesses! It all goes to kids in our area with Toys For Tots!
Piper's Project!

Piper is 13-years-old. When she was 8, she began collecting cans and taking them back for money. She then would take that money and buy bikes for kids who weren't able to have one. Piper has been doing this for five years now, and she is about 15 bikes away from being able to donate her 1000th bike! If interested in donating to the cause you can VENMO a donation to @pipersproject. You will see the name George on that account because Piper is too young to have a Venmo account, so her father is the name on it. Salvation Army Of Traverse City Challenge!

On December 4th, we have thrown down a challenge with the Salvation Army. It's MATCH DAY! So, myself and Guy Dark will be in a three-way competition with Envoy Greg of the Salvation Army. I'll be at Tom's East Bay, Guy Dark will Be at Family Fare on 8th street and Envoy Greg will be at Oleson's West on Long Lake from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.! All money raised that day is matched! There has been quite the debate over the last few years. Halloween has been celebrated on October 31st for a very long time. However, some parents feel that it should be changed. Rather than have Halloween on a week night, change it to the last Saturday of October so it's consistent each year. This way kids can go out, have fun, eat candy, and not have to try and wake up for school the next morning. What do you think? Keep it October 31st? Or move it to the last Saturday of October? Cartman's Critters! Meet Trillium!

Trillium was discovered by someone as she was frantically trying to move her babies from an old rotted out tree stump during a huge rainstorm. She gratefully accepted the help from the finder who safely got them all into our care Second Chance Animal Shelter in Alpena! Trillium was the best Momma to her 7 babies, but now they have all found their forever homes and it's her turn to live her best life.
She is approximately 1 1/2 years old, is already fixed and has her rabies vaccination - is a litter box pro and absolutely LOVES all other animals - she is fostered in a home with dogs & cats and she gets along great with all of them! She would easily fit into any home!

Benny is about 9-years-old and available at Cherryland Humane Society. He was found as a stray about a year and a half ago, and has been at the shelter ever since. He might get a case of the #zoomies here and there, but for the most part, he likes to cuddle and sleep. He's a senior pup! Benny is very smart, walks well on a leash! Snuggles are Benny's favorite! Benny would do well with other dogs and cats. However, older kids are suggested!
